On October 25th, 2009 the results of the survey DOSKY 2009 (STAGES 2009) were officially announced. This was done on the first day of the International Theatre Festival “Divadelná Nitra” (Theatrical Nitra) in the Studio at Andrej Bagar Theatre in Nitra. For us, Rusyns, the announced results are especially joyful, as out of the three nominees for the theatre season 2008/2009 (Martin Huba, Juraj Kukura and Jevgenij Lybezňuk), the Prize for the Best Male Performance was awarded to an actor from the Alexander Dukhnovich Theatre – Jevgenij Lybezňuk for the part of Lopachin in Anton Pavlovič Čechov’s play “Višňový sad” (The Cherry Tree) at Andrej Bagar Theatre in Nitra.
